Obituary of Lalita M. Jennings-Franklin

Lalita “Che-Che” Jennings- Franklin was born and raised in St. Louis, Mo to Joyce Pulliam and Vergal Halk on Aug. 22, 1972. Her Father, Vergal Halk; Aunt, Patricia Jennings; Nephews, Lamar and Eddie Miller Jr.; and Mother-in-Law, Patricia Moore preceded her in death.
She attended St. Louis Public School District. While in school, she was a part of the cheerleader squad; football was her favorite sport. She enjoyed being around Family and loved ones making everyone smile. Our Movie Nights were a regular get to together for us; Popcorn and salads were her specialty (believe it or not).
Lalita found the love of her life, Antonio Franklin in 1995. They joined each other in Holy Matrimony on April 8th, 2015. She was an inspirational soul and always encouraged others to achieve their purpose in life.
Leaving to remember her loving spirit; Joyce Pulliam (Mother); Antonio Franklin (husband); 5 Daughters Jasmine Jennings (Mario, Makyla, Kevonte Lomax), Erica Mixon (Jala and Jacee Jordan) Brittany Mixon, Lashay Mays, and Kristina Jennings; 6 siblings Montell Jennings, Tonia Pulliam, Antony Pulliam, Mahogany Coats, Dana Coats, Nikki Jennings; Special cousin Lenell Jennings; and Special Nephews Eric and Ka’Vonn; Sisters from another Mother, Teri O’neal and Marquita Davis.
