Please share a memory of James to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
James “Ty” Williams departed this life to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 29, 2020. He was 67 years old, born on 10/14/1952 in Nashville, Tennessee to the parents of Father, Tony Williams and Mother, Elaine Kelsey, who is now dancing in Heaven with him and his brother, Jason! Ty is survived by his Sister, Debra A. Salo, whom he loved dearly and was a protective brother of growing up. He is also survived by the Mother of his 3 children, Carol Williams, in which he kept a love deep in his heart for. His 3 children: Ian Williams, age 46 and Crystal Thorne, age 44 who is married to Micheal Thorne and Heather Williams, age 43. He loved all 3 of his children dearly and made sure that everyone knew they were the BEST BLESSING that God could have ever given him and he could not imagine life without his children! He made sure to take care of his family, even if he had to work 2 jobs and tried to provide the best life he could for all his children! His main concern was that they felt safe and loved by him and he wanted to give them anything and everything they wanted but was sure to instill in their minds that love is something that could not be bought so even if we didn’t have all the name brand clothing and trending items as all the other children, that his love for us meant more than any of that and I truly believe that’s why we grew up the way we did and turned out like we did! We were taught to treat others as we would want to be treated and to never bully any kids at school or anywhere and to help or report if we saw something like that going on. He had a smile that could brighten anyone’s day and a laugh that was contagious and you could not help but to love it! Our Daddy had a deep passion for music and could play guitar well and had a great voice when it came to singing and he passed his talent of guitar playing to his Son, Ian, and by the time Ian was in Jr. High, he was playing guitar like a pro and as far as singing goes, my Sister, Heather and I really grew to love Mariah Carey, who our Father was a very big fan of and we loved her music and wanted to sing like her, but we knew we could never come close to singing like her, but our Daddy always told us to dream big dreams and never give up on our dreams and that he was behind us in whatever we decided to do, as long as we were not risking our lives, so that gave us all the motivation we needed. We didn’t have a big family but the little family we did have, we all stayed close and loved one another and was there for each other as family should be! And not only did our Daddy love his own children, but he loved our children as well, his grandchildren and he had 7 grandchildren and they loved their Papaw and miss him dearly but cherish the moments and memories they did have with him! All his grandchildren are: Austin Hughes, age 24 who is married to Natalie and they have 3 wonderful children together that I love dearly and look forward to spending more time with and just wish my Daddy got to be around longer to have more time with them and create more memories but we would much rather him be in Heaven where he is no longer suffering and knowing we will see him there one day! So their babies are Lakyn, Rowan and Riverly. Then, his next grandchild was Shaina, who is Heathers daughter and Shaina is 21 and married to Chase and they have a Son named Lane who is 3 years old. Then there is my 2nd Son, Cole Lewis, who is 19 and has a baby on the way with his fiancé. And then there is Nai Reed, Ian’s first child with Christine, and then Brock Johnson who is Heathers 2nd child and he is 16 and then there is Addison, Ian’s 2nd child and last but certainly not least, is my youngest Son, Landon Kyle Lewis, who is 12 and Papaw wanted to see him so bad before he passed but didn’t get to so we will just have to say that we miss having you here on this temporary home with us, but we know we will be with you in our permanent home in Heaven one day! Until then, Rest In Peace and know that you were SO DEARLY AND DEEPLY LOVED BY ALL OF US!!!
