Mike Candice just shared the news of Mike’s passing and this breaks my heart! I met Mike through Candice when they were dating. I came to AZ for a visit because I needed a getaway weekend and to be with solid, real, down to earth people. Candice and Mike were exactly this! We all had a blast together that weekend! Lots of fun and tons of laughter. By the end of the weekend, I returned to LA with a refreshed attitude thanks to Candice and Mike. Mike really was a great guy; always smiling, happy, and laid back. He was one of the good ones! I am truly sorry for your loss. RIP Mike.

I was pretty little when Mom and Mike were together so I dont have many memories of him. I remember singing to 311 together and I remember the iguana at his mom's house (though it could be possible Im remembering this incorrectly). I think I was 2 years old at the time, though I have remembered his name and face my whole life. I do remember the apartment in Arizona. It is shocking to find out he isnt around anymore when he was so young. I remember him having a lot of strength.

I do not have words to adequately express how I feel as I just found out today. Mike was my college boyfriend and very special to me as we had so many adventures in life together when we were young. And he brought so much joy into my life and I experienced so many different things because of his love of life. He introduced me to so much music I had never heard before that I still listen to to this very day. He was always smiling. He always had a positive outlook on everything and was a true light in this world. It is with tremendous sadness that he is no longer here but I know he is with Dom and they have each other now. He loved Arizona so much and it is only because of him that I moved there for the year that we lived there together. He had such a positive impact on my life. He was larger than life and had the biggest heart I have ever known. He will be missed forever. There was a twinkle in his eyes……always.
