Obituary of Dwaun Clayton
Please share a memory of Dwaun to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Dwaun was born October 10, 1985 four months premature and weighing one pound, fifteen ounces. All the odds were stacked against him, he prevailed and lived a normal life despite the many concerns the doctor had about his future. His struggle was challenging in the beginning BUT GOD. Dwaun was preceded in death by two brothers, Alvin Williams and John Walls.
Dwaun was educated in the St. Louis Public School System. He attended Soldan International Studies before relocating to Ft. Campbell, Kentucky. His love of music and basketball was constant throughout his life. However, nothing could compare to the love he had for his children. They were always in the forefront of his thoughts even though miles separated them. Dwaun always talked about his children and would give them the world if he could.
Dwaun confessed Jesus was his Lord and Savior at an early age, he continued that belief until his passing. He was not shy about his love for the Lord and would often use social media outlets and daily conversations about the blessings of the Lord with whomever he encountered.
Dwaun leaves to cherish his memory his son, Jawun Clayton, Kyree’ Clayton, and Kywaun Montgomery; daughters, Jayla Clayton, Alana Warner, and Jalana Montgomery; Mother, Shawn Walls; Father, Darris Williams Sr.; Stepfather, Paul Walls Sr.; Brothers, Chad Williams, Darris Williams Jr., Jamar Williams, Malik Williams, Paul Walls Jr. (Reyniza); Sisters, Candace Selby (Tony), Darriya Williams, Janell Walls, Makayla Williams, Mariah Williams, Taneshia Williams; Grandmothers, Sharon Clayton-Mayes, Kathy Williams, and Vernon Walls; Grandfather, Martinous Walls Sr.; Great Grandmother, Naomi Williams, and a host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and Friends who loved him dearly.
