Obituary of William Houston Killingham Sr.

William was born to Fred and Annie Killingham on August 29, 1928; both parents preceded him in death.
In his earlier years, he was considered comical, loved a good belly laugh, and making people laugh.
William was educated in the St. Louis Public School System. He had a great love for music, especially jazz and loved playing the trumpet. His determined heart allowed William, to teach himself how to play several instruments including the piano. He played the trumpet so well he went on to play with the internationally known Chuck Berry Band. He served his country as a Private in the United States Army Air Corps, receiving his honorable discharge June of 1947. He was employed as a butcher by the Kroger Company where he retired after several decades. William was a servant of the Jehovah Witness organization until the day he transitioned.
William married Virginia Killingham, from this union six children were born. In 2008, Mrs. Virginia became their guardian angel. Subsequently, he married Ora Killingham. They remained married until she transitioned from her earthly home in 2006. He was preceded in death also by his sister, Catherine; Brothers, Fred and Morris; Daughter Karen, and Son, Michael.
He leaves to cherish his memory his earthly family: Sons, Anthony and William; Daughters, Brenda Hodge (Leo) and Claudia Killingham, Four Stepdaughters, Two Stepsons, a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
