Dear Harris Family: I know well the pain of losing both a father & brother in death and the hole it can leave in life. How many times I have wanted to pick up the phone and call my Dad, but AT&T doesn’t cover that call…. But Almighty God does! When Jesus was on earth he completed numerous resurrections, awakening people from death, as easily as you would wake up a sleeping child, Please read the following accounts in your copy of the Holy Bible (Luke 7:12 – 15; John 11:17 – 27 & 38 – 44; Luke 8:41, 42 & 49 – 56). In fact, in the forgoing Bible verses Jesus repeatedly likens death to sleep. Please remember death is an "enemy" not a reward. That's why it hurts so much when we lose a loved one. (1Corinthians 15:26). Please know, Jesus has been given ‘all authority in heaven and on earth’ (Matthew 28:18) and will soon exercise his authority over death by raising our loved ones back to life here on earth just as easily as you would awaken a sleeping child. (Acts 24:15 & John 5:28, 29)….. This is a promise from Almighty God, who cannot lie (Titus 1:2).... Love you, Gene. We had some great fun in the days at Grandmas on Cottage and with our Redmond cousins in Webster. I was sooo glad we conversed a short while ago when you told me what was going on. Although I wasn't able to spend time with you after I got old and gray, I thought of you often and will always keep you in my heart. RIH, cous. Love you.
