Obituary of Oje Anthony Dorest

Ojé “OJ” Dorest, an Army Veteran, peacefully ascended into the heavens above on June 12, 2019, 60 y/o. Fortier Sr. High alum C/O ’77. Son of the late Alfred Dorest Sr. & Rosemary Greene-Hunt. Also preceded in death by his step-father, the late Osborne Hunt, Sr., his sister Trellis Dorest, his brother, Alfred Dorest, Jr. Survived by his siblings Michelle Dorest-Doucette (Melvin Jr.), Kim Dorest, and Lehman Hunt (Shantelle). Memorial services will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at JB Chapel, 1 Jefferson Barracks Drive, St. Louis, MO at 1:00 p.m. and on Saturday, July 6, 2019 at St. James Methodist Church of LA, 1925 Ursulines Avenue, New Orleans, LA at 11:00 a.m. Private interment in New Orleans, LA. Gateway Cremation and Funeral Services, St. Louis, MO in charge of arrangements.
