Obituary of Christopher Leon Gragg
Life Reflections
Christopher Leon Gragg was born on September 30, 1999 in Saint Louis, Missouri to Cochee Hurn and Cassandra Gragg. Between his mom and dad, he was the 9th child of 13 children. He was fondly known to family and friends as Luh Bam Bam. At an early age, Christopher developed his faith in God. He was best known for being helpful and loyal to loved ones.
Christopher received his education through the St. Louis Public School District. While in school, he developed his love for sports and athleticism. He was a member of the Roosevelt High School football team where he played cornerback and free safety.
Christopher started boxing at the Gamble Recreation Center in 2015. He was a talented boxer and received awards for his welterweight boxing. He also was a member of the Primetime Panthers Basketball team where he played shooting guard. He made the All-Star team and placed 2nd in the Columbia tournament.
Outside of sports, Christopher also had a passion for drawing. He was very talented and loved to draw anime characters. Christopher also enjoyed spending time with his friends and family, the jokester who made any environment he was in lighthearted and playful.
On Tuesday, November 5, 2019, the Lord whispered his name to enter glory. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Joe and Rosie Hurn; his maternal grandfather, Sanford Gragg; two uncles, Cherco Harris and Cory Gragg; and two cousins, Allen and Jayson Hurn.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his father, Cochee (Dorothy); his mother, Cassandra; his grandmother, Glenda; five brothers, Cortez; DreMarko, Cortez, Sincere, and Nathan; seven sisters, Alexis, Jeuel, Melinda, T’Ara, Carolyn, Mary, and Coriauna; eight aunts, four uncles, a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Bam is greatly loved and will be genuinely missed. He is his Dad’s “mini-me,” and things will never be the same without him.
