Please share a memory of Brian to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Brian Keith Willis, Jr., the loving son of Brian Keith Willis, Sr. and Alicia Louise Thompson, was
born on February 5, 1997 in St. Louis, Missouri at Barnes Jewish Hospital. He was their only
child. Brian spent his early years living in south St. Louis and Affton, Missouri where he
attended school in the Affton school district.
He was an avid athlete playing a variety of sports in youth leagues and high school. These
included soccer, baseball, basketball as well as football and wrestling which he enjoyed the
most and at which he excelled, winning numerous medals.
Brian was well known for his good humor and ability to make life-long friends easily throughout
his short life with his winning smile and good sense of humor.
While Brian was confronted with life’s challenges, he continually made an effort to overcome
them. While in the process doing so, he was suddenly taken from us at the age of 23 on July 24,
2020 in St. Louis.
Brian will always be remembered as his parents’ pride and joy. They will always keep his
memory alive in their hearts.
In addition to his parents, Brian is survived by his paternal grandmother, Ardell Willis, great
aunts and great uncles, aunts, uncles and numerous cousins on both sides of his family.
- To live in hearts we leave behind is not to die.-
