Obituary of Dianne Pearl Yowell
Please share a memory of Dianne to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
On Thursday, August 20, 2020, Dianne Pearl Yowell,
loving partner and sister, passed away at the age of 59.
Dianne was born on February 14, 1961 in South St.
Louis to Rose and Charles “Bud” Yowell, Sr.
She attended Webster Groves High School and
worked as a real estate agent and hair stylist in Florida.
In 2006, she moved to O’Fallon, Missouri with Doug
Drouin, her devoted companion of 23 years.
All who knew Dianne admired her extraordinary
vivacity and high spirits. She had a passion for art and
music, and a gift for creating beautiful, highly personal
jewelry and ornamental “treasure boxes.”
Dianne was preceded in death by her father and
mother. She is survived by her partner, Doug, her
siblings Charlie Yowell, Susanne Miller and Virgil
Yowell, and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
In 2020, she endorsed the Black Lives Matter
movement; support for that movement would best
honor her memory.
We all wish her well as she begins this new journey,
but we will miss her, unceasingly.
