Please share a memory of James to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
James “King” Robinson was born March 8, 1963 in St. Louis, Missouri to the union of Luke and Earnestine Robinson, both parents preceded him in death. He was educated in the St. Louis Public School System. James surrendered his life to Christ at an early age, he remained a devoted Christian and member of Mount Herald Missionary Baptist Church until his earthly transition. It was at Mount Herald Missionary Baptist Church where James also met the love of his life, Brenda Martin. They joined together in Holy Matrimony on June 7, 2003. James was a devoted husband, caring father and stepfather, wonderful grandfather, and a loving brother. James worked at Unico as a factory worker for many years. James loved laughing, smiling, and was known for giving everyone he met a thoughtful nickname. When you came in contact with James you would learn two things about him for sure, #1. He was “Bren’s Husband” and #2. He loved his wife. He loved walking and you would know it was him just by his stride. James leaves to cherish his memory his loving and devoted wife, Brenda Robinson; 1 son, James Robinson Jr.; 4 stepchildren, Octavia (Nee-Nee) Johnson, Darlisha (Lisa) Cooper (Stanley), George Bowers IV (Robyn), and LaMonda (Meeka) Rice; 1 Brother, Luke Robinson Jr.; 1 Sister Diane Webb (Timothy); 3 nephews, Howard Robinson, Robert Alexander (Cheryl), and John Robinson (preceding him in death); 1 niece, Diana Marie Robinson, and a host of other nieces, nephews, grandchildren, cousins, and in-laws who loved him.
