Obituary of Carl Schubert

Carl was born in July 1957 to Charles and Alberta (nee Alexander) Schubert of Granite City,
Illinois. Carl spent two years in the Marine Corps in the 1970’s. His life ended on January 3, 2021 at
Barnes Hospital. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Charles S. Schubert of
Granite City, and his infant daughter Amy Schubert of Granite City.
Surviving relatives include his daughters, Robin Schubert (Staci Stift) of St. Louis, Jamie
Rauckman (Alex) of Granite City, IL; a sister, Gail Dewald (John) of San Antonio Texas; and a
brother Alan Schubert (Chana) of Granite City. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews,
aunts, uncles, and cousins. A special thank you to the staff of Harris Manor in Farmington,
Missouri for the care they provided him for so many years.
