Obituary of Jerry Lee Owens

Jerry Lee Owens passed away at his home on January 4th, 2021, at the age of 52. Born on April 8th, 1968 at St. Louis City Hospital, he was the son of Mary Evelyn Ward (Roark). Jerry was a man of many interests and loved to “tinker” and trade. He was a collector and chances are that if you ever gave him something, he kept it in a place of honor in his home. Jerry had a big heart. Whether it was providing a place for someone to stay when they needed it or cooking a meal to share with anyone that was hungry, he enjoyed helping others when he could. He was an avid fan of the Chicago Bears as well as all of his hometown sports teams in St. Louis. Jerry will be deeply missed by all who loved him. He is survived by his sons, Jeremy, Jeremia, and Anthony, four grandchildren, Nevaeh, Lukas, Adelyn, and Anthony, brothers, Robert and Carl Jr., sisters, Christina and Christine, and numerous nieces and nephews. He joins his son, Anthony, and mother, Mary, in heaven. Family and friends whose lives Jerry touched are welcome to a service of remembrance 1:30 to 5:00 pm on January 30th, 2021, at Solid Rock Church 899 Gravois Road, Fenton, MO 63026.
