Obituary of Peter Lloyd Kaufmann III

Peter Lloyd Kaufmann III was born on March 31 1966 in St. Louis MO to Nancy and Frank Kaufmann (both passed) he was 3rd child. His brothers Frank Jr, Charles, and Chad (all passed). Peter passed away peacefully on August 3 2021 in Lake St. Louis MO. Peter was educated in Green Park MO in the Lindbergh School District. Peter was involved in Demolay as a child and young man. Peter was a jack of all trades there was not anything he would not try or was able to do, he worked all kinds of different jobs until he found one he loved as a forklift driver for a company in St. Peters MO. Peter married young to Pamela Nelson they where together 15 years, before they divorced. That marriage produced a daughter Victoria Paige Kaufmann. Peter adored his daughter and loved being a father. They enjoyed going to Cardinals and Blues games together. He loved to cook and make up recipes. Peter never knew a stranger, he always had a kind word for people. He always ran into someone he knew everywhere he went. Peter had an incredibly gentle spirit and had a unique perception on the world around him. Peter would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. Peter had a huge heart and definitely enjoyed helping people that showed even in his last days. Peter signed up to be an organ and tissue donor in 2011 shortly after his brother died. With the gift of himself in his death Peters legacy of kindness will live on in others. Peter had an amazing sense of humor an infectious laugh and smile. Peter is preceded in death by his daughter Victoria Kaufmann and his now ex wife Pamela Nelson as well as so many other family and friends.
