Obituary of DeMarco L. McNeal

Please share a memory of DeMarco to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
DeMarco Lamont McNeal was born in St. Louis, Missouri on November 12, 1984, to Wendy McNeal and Reginald Judge Sr. He spent his early years in California where he watched his brothers and sisters bloom into the world as the oldest. He was a loving brother. He accepted Christ at an early age, becoming a wise leader to those around him. DeMarco was dedicated to God on the 8th Day, being water baptized at Christ Temple Church of Christ Holiness U.S.A. He served as the Youth Choir Musician and Youth Leadership Deacon. A few of his responsibilities included grooming church grounds, feeding, and serving the less fortunate. The best words to describe DeMarco McNeal are INSPIRING, INNOVATIVE, HUMBLE, MODEST, FIRM HEARTED, and UNAPOLOGETIC about who he was as a person. As the oldest of 6 children, he has always been an overseer and took the role of the big brother prominently. At the early age of 4, DeMarco discovered he had a passion for music. He participated in major performing arts programs. At 9 years old, he was gifted with musical instruments instead of a playroom. This allowed him to learn how to play numerous instruments very well. DeMarco worked as a producer to local artists as early as age 12 in California. Later he moved to Atlanta to pursue his dream of becoming a major producer. He attended Georgia Tech Musical Institution and majored in music production. At the age of 23, DeMarco had become one of the top 16 producers in Atlanta working on projects with artists such as XSCAPE and KRIS KROSS. However, his main focus was to help local upcoming artists. His faith in God allowed him to have a deep understanding and wisdom, being a true prophet. He would spread his words helping others grow to become their best selves while also comforting them. He firmly stood on his own words, which state, “Even When We Lose, Ultimately We Win “. On Sunday August 29, 2021, DeMarco was called home to be with our Heavenly Father to help protect, oversee, and guide us. He was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Minnie Lou Williams; grandfathers, Calvin McNeal and Clayton Judge; Aunts, Phebe Stallings and LaTeshia Walker-Stafford; cousin, Mosary Stallings; and youngest brother, Delonzo White. He leaves to cherish his memories grandmothers, Mildred McNeal and Betty Judge; mother, Wendy McNeal; father, Reginald Judge; brothers, Devin McNeal-Smith, Reginald Judge Jr, Andre Judge, Dwayne, Dwon, Dwight Judge; sisters, Jasmine Williams (Eric Williams), Shandrea-Charity States (Christopher States), Precious Jamerson-White, and Jazzy Judge; nieces, Jahmiyra McNeal Smith, Jaylah Williams, Chloe Ramsey-Reeves, Jour’Dyn Williams, Charlie States, Justyce Williams (twin), and twins, Cheyenne & Christian States; nephews, Jashtin Williams and JyeCeon Williams (twin), Princeton Jamerson Phillips, and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
