Roy Lee Valentine was born June 2, 1955, to his mother, the late Lena Mae Valentine and his father, the late Bobby Lee Whitley. Roy Lee was preceded in death by his mother, Lena Mae Valentine; his father, Bobby Lee Whitley; two sisters, Daisy Mae (Sue Mae) Valentine and Annie Marie Berry, and two brothers, Eddie (Buck) Valentine and David Earl “Moneywell” Valentine.
Ray Lee leaves to cherish his memories, two sons, Roy Lee Jr. and Ron Vester of Memphis, Tennessee; two sisters, Geneva Morton of St. Louis, Missouri and Patricia Valentine of Memphis, Tennessee; three brothers of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Roy and James Dowell of Dyersburg, Tennessee; two aunts, Maggie Ann and Roberta of Memphis, Tennessee and one uncle, Willie (Ernestine) Valentine of Somerville, Tennessee; A Special Friend, Orlando of Saint Louis, Missouri, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
