Obituary of Hubert Burford

Hubert D. Burford Jr. (Sarge) 87, of Saint Louis, Missouri passed away peacefully on November 1, 2021. Hubert was preceded in death by his wife Mary Ann Burford (Arnold) and survived by his daughter Juanita Burford of Sedalia Missouri. Hubert was a Sergeant First Class of the United States Army with honorable discharge. He worked many years at Saint Louis Refrigerator Car for the Railroad in St. Louis. He enjoyed crafting items from leather and had a great love for animals. Many friends knew Hubert by “Sarge”. Sarge will be fondly remembered by his great stories and his charismatic personality. He will be greatly missed by many. As Sarge would say... “Well Whatever!"
