Obituary of Gary Lawrence Patrick

Gary L. Patrick was born on December 30, 1959 in St. Louis, Missouri to the union of Lawrence and Rosalie Patrick. He was the second born of three children. Preceding him in death was both parents (Kirk & Rose); sister (Marion); brother (Mark) and grandson (Chico). Gary was affectionately known to everyone as “G-Money”. He received his formal education in the Saint Louis public school system. Gary confessed a hope in Christ at an early age and was baptized by Pastor P.W (now deceased) at the New Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church. He was quiet, a man of few words but his lack words were shown through his actions of love he had for his family and friends. He enjoyed listening to music, watching tv and spending time with his grandchildren. On Thursday, December 23, 2021 he was transitioned from this world to be with the Lord! Gary is survived and forever cherished in memory by his devoted wife, Kimberly Turner; 8 children; Sasha Ward (Daimeyan), Gary Turner, Alonzo Turner (Melissa), Carlos Cluberson, Arnisha Patrick, Demoreo Jordan, Candy Patrick and Mark Patrick. Twenty-five grandchildren; ten great-granddaughters; two nephews; one niece; 4 aunts and 2 uncles; four sisters-in-law and one brother-in-law and a host of other relatives and friends. So Now to My Family & Friends I am safely in heaven dear ones Oh, so happy and so bright! There is perfect joy and beauty In this everlasting light. All the pain and grief is over Every restless tossing passed I am now at peace forever, Safely home in heaven at last. And he came himself to meet me In that way so hard to tread And with Jesus’ arm to lean on Could I have one doubt or dread?
