Antonio Adonis Newsom affectionately known as “Lil Tony” was born on February 13, 1979, to Patricia Brown & Antonio Newsom. He is preceded in death by grandparents, Ora & George Temes, Inez & Harry Williams, Uncle Rick & Cousin Sonya. Tony was baptized under the leadership of Rev. Eugene Barney at Mt. Herald MB Church. He served faithfully on the Usher board until beginning employment with Schnucks. He received his formal education at Mehlville School District. He was employed for 15 years for Contico International. Tony took pride in his duties as a forklift driver. Tony was a momma’s boy and wasn’t ashamed to let anyone know. He loved playing baseball, listening to music, spending quality time with his brother Alexis, joking about each other dress code. He enjoyed riding with his brother to watch (pretty girls). His favorite clothing was Polo, Nike & his tennis. He called his grandmother every day to keep her up on the latest news. Tony leaves to cherish his memory his parents; brother, Alexis; sister, Brandi Mims of Arlington, TX; aunts, Margret (Charles), Joyce (Ronnie), Angelia Stevens-Franklin of Olympia, Washington; his favs, Michelle, LaShonda Williams (Johnnie) of Westchester, IL; Godson, JayShon Williams of Westchester, IL; Uncles, Larry (Chantal) and Mario E. Doss; Great Aunt, Carrie Harris; Godmothers, Joann Duckworth and Alice Graves; best friend, George Sanders; play Aunt, Sheryl Hardy of Cahokia, IL, and a host of other relatives, friends, and cousins.
