Obituary of Hannah D. Weekly

Hannah Deswonn Weekly, beloved mother, daughter, and sister passed away Thursday, January 20th at her home in St. Louis, Missouri. She was 49 years old. She’s leaves to mourn 3 sons, a mother, father, 1 sister, 2 brothers, and 1 brother preceding her in passing; as well as a host of family, friends, and coworkers. Hannah was born September 5, 1972 in St. Louis, Missouri to her parents, Hannah Williams-Donegan and Kenneth Weekly. She was actively pursuing and furthering her education at Phoenix University, in addition to a lifelong career in the Medical Administration and Billing field, most recently for Washington University School of Medicine. Hannah’s earliest memories were of tagging along with her older brother Kenneth, and helping raise and teach her younger siblings, Deshun, Nathan, and Precious, before having three children of her own. Jeremiah, Isaiah, and Nicholas were the pride and joy of her life. They will always remember her by her words “You have two things in this world, and that is your word and your name.” Hannah’s children and siblings will forever uphold those words, as they continue to instill them within themselves and their future children. The legacy of Hannah’s kind spirit, strength of Jesus, patience for nurturing, love of expressing her creativity and energy of life will live on through them. Hannah was always a kind and personable soul. She is remembered as always touching people’s heart and helping others as she could. Hannah had a smile that would light up the room as well as people’s heart. She took pride in expressing her creativity through her style and her passion in making her house a home. Hannah was also a close friend to many of her coworkers. They remember her as being always easy to talk to and friendly with a precious soul. They were always met with a lending ear and great advice. Hannah will be dearly missed by all she has touched throughout her short, yet vibrant life.
