Obituary
Obituary of Darryl Sanders
Please share a memory of Darryl to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Darryl Jerome Sanders was the first of four born to Frank
and Harriet Sanders in St. Louis, Missouri on January 2, 1965.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Clarence and
Laura Richard; his uncle, Clarence (Tim) Richard; his nephew,
Dujuan Macon Jr., and niece, Auriona Sanders.
Darryl enjoyed working with his hands. He was the number one
handy man. There was no job too big for him. If you were to call
Darryl, he would be there right on the spot. You might have to
pay him half up front tho’, LOL! However, it was well worth it.
Darryl was a strict and firm man who did not play about his
mother, daughter, or his family. Darryl even took an interest in
fishing, karate, and playing Chess with his Uncle Tim, who
preceded him in death.
On May 3, 2022, God dispatched his angels to bring him home
to be with him to rest at peace. His new mission takes him to a
beautiful place where he will be socializing, smiling, and putting
his hands to work for the Glory of God.
Darryl leaves to cherish his memory, his loving and devoted
mother, Harriet Sanders; daughter, DaShonda Payne; only
Sister, Dana Sanders; two brothers, Eddie Sanders and Shawn
Sanders; one aunt, Rosalyn Peters; two uncles, Aaron Richard,
Phillip Richard, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family,
and friends.
