Alan “Scott” Mahan, 64, died at 11:40 p.m. on Saturday August 20, 2022 at Alton Memorial Hospital in Alton, Il. He was born on December 8, 1957 in Alton, Il. Raised by his father Robert (Betty) Mahan, he followed his fathers footsteps and was a contractor plasterer by trade. He is survived by his daughters Vanessa Fitzgerald and Catherine “Callie” Mahan as well as his two brothers Dan Mahan and Robin (Cathy) Mahan. He was preceded in death by his father and infant daughter, Sara. Services will be private.
