Obituary of Robert Vernon Stratton

Robert Vernon Stratton STRATTON - Robert V. age 70, died unexpectedly Saturday August 27th 2022 in his home in St. Louis MO. He was born September 10th 1951 in Benton Harbor MI. Son of Charles Laverne Stratton and Hattie Anna Louise (Kesterke) Stratton. Robert graduated Benton Harbor High School, June of 1971 and was a certified CNC machinist. Robert was skilled with his hands and very mechanically inclined. He worked most of his life as a CNC machinist. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, shooting bow and arrow, wood working, and spending time outdoors. He could build and repair almost anything and liked figuring things out. He spent most of his free time with family, working on his cars, and his house. Robert could talk to everyone and never met a stranger. He loved to joke around and was a natural born storyteller. In addition to his parents he was predeceased in death by his sister Thelma Louise Erickson. His survivors are Brother Harold Wayne Stratton and Wife Bobby Stratton and their 2 children - Albuquerque NM. Son Robert Vern Stratton and Granddaughter Raven McKenna - South Bend, IN, Daughter Cynthia Ann Stratton - Lakeland, FL, and Kimberlee Louise Stratton and Granddaughter Addison B. Kennedy - Farmington, MO. and many nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will be held in remembrance of Robert at the end of October 2022.
