I feel so blessed to have known Travis.
Growing up, our crew of friends couldn’t wait until he’d arrive to spend the summer with us in Newfoundland. When Travis was around you knew you were going to have a fun time. He was an amazing story teller. We all loved for him to tell us about his escapades in Springfield Missouri, a place that seemed so far off and exotic to us. He was hilarious and goofy but if you ever needed a shoulder to cry on (and sometimes I did) he was there for you a hundred percent.
Almost every night we’d all sleep out in his bunk house, often sneaking out in the wee hours to skateboard through town when we owned the streets and there was no traffic. So many great afternoons cruising through off-road trails with our music turned up way too loud, swimming at the river, having beers around a bonfire at night. Countless amazing memories.
Travis, you touched my life and so many others in such a positive way. I’ll always remember you with love. Take care, buddy, until we meet again.

Buddy you were my best friend for a long time. It tore me apart when your sickness took you away but I always thought we'd have a time and place to fix things. I guess we'll have to try again on our next run. You'll always be my brother and I'll always love you. Rest well you crazy Newfie.
