Obituary of Ray A. Bow

Ray Andre Bow was called home to our Lord on Thursday, November 24th, 2022. Born September 29th, 1966, to James Edward Bow Sr and Wilma Elizabeth Allen, he was the eleventh of twelve children. Ray, to all who knew him was a hardworking and caring individual who touched the lives of many.
Ray’s mother moved the family to San Francisco, CA in 1977 where he continued his education attending Redding Elementary, Francisco Middle School and Galileo High School.
Faith was paramount in Ray’s life, he joined Sacred Heart Parish of San Francisco at an early age. Later in life, Ray accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and personal Savior. He served under the leadership of Pastor Joe Martin at Martin Temple Church of God & Christ.
Ray met and married the love of his life, Donna Holland on August 8, 2010. Their marriage included a blended family of five children. Ray loved socializing with good company, he was a constant presence in the lives of his family but preferred his close relationship with his wife. Ray was known for always lending a helping hand to family, church and friends. He worked in the service and labor industry for various companies and was no stranger to hard work. He and his wife Donna also worked their own local sales business. You would also find them looking out for those less fortunate, housing, feeding and sharing whatever they had. His charm, persistence, good spirit and infectious smile will truly be missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents; James and Wilma Bow; Stepfather: Thomas Wainwright; Sisters: Violet Bow, Emma Bow-Gines and Goldie Johnson; Brother: James Bow.
He leaves to cherish his memory: Wife, Donna Holland-Bow; Daughters: Rayshone Bow-Miller (Truedell Sr.), Erin McGhee and Precious Holland Nelson (Antonio); Sons: Dondi Holland and Christopher Holland (Carolyn Hamilton); Grandsons: Truedell Miller Jr., Darion Holland, Antonio Nelson Jr., and Antonio Lucious; Granddaughters: Haley Nelson, Dallas Nelson, Toni Rose Nelson, Aarion Lucious, Alonah Lucious, and Dominque Holland; Brothers, William Bow Sr. (Patricia), Bennie Bow Sr. (Alba), Henry Bow, Jacob Bow Sr. (Kimberly), Tommiedor Wainwright Sr. (Shelly); Sisters: Sonya Bow and Debbie Bow; a beloved Mother-in-law Louise Holland Haley; 4 great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.
