Obituary of Anthony LaMar Dunn

Please share a memory of Anthony to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Anthony was born April 19, 1968 in St. Louis, Missouri to Jacquelyn Dunn and Thomas Marshall Jr., who also preceded him in death. He received his education in the Riverview Gardens School District. Anthony loved to work with his hands. He could fix just about anything and little-known fact, he could draw as well. He drew a lion on the wall in the basement of his childhood home. Anthony was the brother, uncle, and cousin that babysat everyone. He had no children of his own, but the children loved him. Anytime you were in his presence, you could ALWAYS look forward to his life lessons in his own language and always ending it with that favorite phrase , ”WE RAP…”. He had a Heart of Gold. He was very protective of his family and would kill a brick for you. If you had Anthony A.K.A. “Phroney” B.K.A. “Dirty Red” for a friend you had a friend for life. Anthony was called home February 13, 2023, to join his parents, Jacquelyn Dunn and Thomas Marshall Jr.; Grandparents, Ernestine Walton and James Crawford; Aunts, Sandra Smith, Winfred Fowler, and Barbara Rankin; Uncles, Herbert Dunn Jr. and Gaylord Crawford, and his special friend, Denise Reddin. Anthony leaves many loved ones to cherish his memory, his father, Jake Smith Jr. (Debra), who was a pillar in his life who Anthony spoke highly of; siblings, Dionne, Herbert, Courtney (Niki), Wayne, Samantha, Thomas (Andrea), Lynette, Joycie (Fabian); nieces, Arriel, Gabrielle, Malia, Dylan, Symone; nephews, Javon and Ramses; great-niece, Aria; great-nephews, Eyan, Eryn, Quincy, and his good friend, Chris Bradley, who’s friendship didn’t go unnoticed.
