Obituary of Kshe Stringer-Jones

The Fabulous Kshe Monique Stringer-Jones was born April 7, 1973, to Michael Becks and Shirley Stringer-Wilkins. She was preceded in death by her father, maternal grandparents, and maternal great-grandparents. As a child she was extremely unique, she knew how to love without restraints. She accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Mount Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church. She was a graduate of East St. Louis Sr. High School, Class of 1991. While in High School she attended Southwestern Illinois University. After High School, she received three associate degrees in arts, culinary Arts, and childhood development. In 1989, Kshe Stringer met Reginald Jones. On June 18, 1998, the two joined together in Holy Matrimony and became one. They enjoyed traveling and living their best life together. Their love for each other was real and never compromised. This union was blessed with two kings, Reginald Jones Jr. and Kishon Jones. Kshe loved working with special needs children as a teacher’s assistant. Her passion was cooking at the Muny. She took pride in serving people and making them feel like they were special. Kshe never met a stranger. She was always caring and giving to so many she loved. Once she smiled, you knew she liked you. She loved shopping, visiting Wineries, cracking jokes with family and friends, and spending time with her family. Her laugh gave you joy! Her smile was uplifting. She carried a special bond for her beautiful Granddaughters, Jordyn and Alivia Jones. They were her pride and joy. She was a member of New Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Dr. B. A. Cureton. She enjoyed attending services with her family. On June 22, 2023, God in HIS infinite wisdom made the decision to take her home with him. Kshe Monique Stringer-Jones was a true warrior. Through many circumstances of her life, she won them all. Kshe leaves to cherish her memory her devoted husband, Reginald Jones Sr.; sons, Reginald Jones Jr. and Kishon Jones; daughter-in-law, Whitney Cuppett-Jones; granddaughters, Jordyn Amiyah Jones and Alivia Rae Jones; mother, Shirley Stringer-Wilkins; Mother & Father-In-Law, Delta & Charles Jones Sr.; siblings, Sylvia Becks, Keisha Stringer, Kyesha Stringer, and Kevin Stringer; Brother-in-Laws, Charles Jones Jr. & Leonardo Jones, special cousins, Latascha Stringer-Walker, and a host of aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, coworkers, and special friends.
