Obituary of Beverly Lynn McCormick

Beverly Lynn McCormick passed away at the age of 69 on March 13, 2018, surrounded by her loving family, at Four Fountains Nursing Home in Belleville, IL.

Beverly Lynn was born on August 31, 1948 in Wrightstown, WI to the late Mildred and Sylvester Miller.  Bev graduated from Fox Valley Lutheran High School in 1966  .  She graduated from Southern Illinois University, Edwardsville in 1989 with a Bachelor's of Social Work degree.  She passionately worked with clients with developmental disabilities  for 14 years, before retiring.  

She married Patrick McCormick in 1972, they had two children, Sean McCormick (39) and Kelly Hall (38).

Bev enjoyed doting on her grandchildren, snuggling with her pets,  reading, and baking. Beverly, an ardent believer in Jesus Christ,  especially enjoyed the Seasoned Saints group at Martin Luther Evangelical Lutheran Church, where she had been a member for over 30  years.

Beverly is survived by her loving husband, Patrick; children Sean McCormick and Kelly (Peter) Hall; grandchildren Hallie and Elijah Hall ;two sisters Bonnie Jean (Russ) Priebie and Beatrice Ambrosius, and many nieces and nephews.
