If anyone would like some of the music curtis and I recorded back in the day I saved all of it and will freely share with anyone. I can be reached at headlesspymp@gmail.com
I especially want his brothers and mother to have these songs. We had such good times together. He truly was a genius.

Brother Curtis. I was looking you up on google this morning. Wanted to get ahold of you but I have found out you are gone. The best times I ever had in Altus OK were with you. Busting out music. So many songs. The music I make today is based on the tunes we made back in the day. Our style is the foundation of all I do today. You were a great song writing teacher and master craftsman. Gonna give our tunes a tribute listen tonight just so i can hear your voice and hear your laughter. You are a rare treasure that I feel honored to have been around to watch you shine. I send love and light to your family and friends brother. We will meet again.

Curtis, my friend, may you rest peacefully and know that the best of you will be missed by all of your friends and the family that you cultivated in your years here...none more than the one you always told me you loved most of all, Mark/Cookie. (July 2014 photo)

One of my fondest memories of being in the West End was when we put all the tables together at The Coffee Cartel & had an orphan Thanksgiving. Curtis was a chef at Chez Leon & he brought a delicious melty Chocolate Lava Cake. It was the first time I ever had Chocolate Lava Cake & I still think of him every time I make it. We all love you so much.

Like a magnet, Curtis' enthusiastic charisma would draw people to him forever touching their lives. He had a huge compassionate heart, giving what little he had when he could. He was so very creative with many talents always thinking outside the box inspiring others along the way. He had such a zest for life and adventure that was insatiable. It wasn't always easy to have Curtis as a friend but I couldn't imagine having not met him. Sharing vulnerability and raw emotion though difficult times he impacted my world greatly. He helped me pack and was the last hug I received in St Louis. I thought about him and prayed for him often. My deepest sympathy to all whose lives he touched. May you all find comfort knowing he is at peace.
