Kay was my"big sister" in Psi Theta chapter of Chi Omega Women's Fraternity at ODU. She was a wonderful, caring person who was like "sunshine" when around her. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

I remember Kay as being my brother, Chris Martin’s , first high school sweetheart. Chris was into photography and had pictures of Kay all over his bedroom walls. He passed away at the early age of 55,so now he can Kay can say hello in heaven. God rest her soul !

Patricia Kay Nance passed away August 2, 2018 in St. Louis, Missouri. She was
born December13,1942 in Raleigh, North Carolina. She was the daughter of the late William M. Nance, Sr. and Kathryn Pool Nance. She is survived by a brother, William Nance, "Bill" of Charlotte, North Carolina and a sister, JoAnn Nance Spencer of Southern Shores, North Carolina. and a son Stefan Smith of Topanga, California She is also survived by a special, loving friend, James Pullen of St. Louis, Missouri.Kay was a 1961 graduate of Cradock High School in Portsmouth, Virginia and also a graduate of Old Dominion University.
She had worked as a school teacher and a social worker. After receiving her Master's Degree In Library Science, she worked as a college librarian at Washington University In St. Louis, Missouri.

I remember Kay as a beautiful young girl from high schoo more than 55 years ago. She was a high achiever with a sweet disposition and sparkling personality that was admired by her classmates and schoolmates.
May she be remembered for a life of kind acts and may she rest in peace.
