Roussin, Brenda Diane (Shoemaker) May 19th, 1950 - May 7th, 2020
Brenda was born in Saint Louis, MO on May 19th, 1950 to Ray and Georgia Shoemaker who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her grandparents Wade and Gilla Kemp who cherished her and gave to her the most charmed childhood on their farm in Annapolis, MO. Her memories of being with them were some of her all-time favorite.
Brenda loved and fought fiercely. Her desire to take care of everyone was insatiable but it never stopped her from trying.
She leaves behind her husband John Roussin, Her children: Kenny Rotellini, Kevin (Lesley) Rotellini, Antonio (Stacy) Rotellini, Delilah Rotellini, Cassie Thompson, Jacob (Jen)Thompson, Joshuah Thompson (Jen), Lindsay Roussin (Kyle). Grandchildren: Kristy, Ben, Eileen, Damien, Amber, Katie, Devin, Deserea, Gabby, Izzy, Max, Elliot, Samuel, Ivy, Jackson, Eloise, Jemma, Madilynn, and Kaitlynn. Many great grandchildren. Her sisters Carla Bradley and Dina Zimmerman.
She was also preceded in death by her grandparents Albert Shoemaker and Clydie Myers. Sadly preceded by grandchildren Kenny and Baby Georgia.
We are certain that Gino was anxiously waiting her arrival and we can only imagine the stories to be told.
Brenda requested cremation with no service. Love and Godspeed to our Wife, Mother, Mama, Daughter in law, Sister and Aunt
WHEN I’M GONE
When I come to the end of my journey
And I travel my last weary mile
Just forget if you can, that I ever frowned
And only remember the smile
Forget unkind words I have spoken
Remember some good I have done
Forget that I ever had heartache
And remember the days we had fun
Forget that I have stumbled and blundered
And sometimes fell by the way
Remember I have fought some hard battles
And won, at the close of the day
Then forget to grieve for my going
I would not have you sad for a day
But in summer gather some flowers
And remember the place where my ashes lay
And come in the shade of evening
When the sun paints the sky in the west
Stand for a few moments beside me
And only remember my best
