LUCILLE D. BOWMAN was born December 7, 1941, on Pearl Harbor Day in St Louis, Missouri. She transitioned on May 27, 2020 whereas she fought a good fight. Her mother Margie, father George, and son Keith Bowman preceded her in death. She leaves to mourn 3 daughters Lynette, Dawn, and Robin; one son Terrence Bowman, 8 grandchildren, and 20 great grandchildren, 2 sisters Delores Reed and Anna Bowman, and a host of nieces and nephews. She was a member of New Paradise Church presided by Reverend Nabors, before her health prevented her from attending. She worked for the city of St. Louis in the Marriage License office. She had the most beautiful handwriting so she signed everybody’s license. Mrs.Bowman, Cill as we sometimes called her was a very compassionate and giving person. During her tenure at Harris Stowe she would hold and annual clothing give away helping all that attended. She also held clothing giveaways for her St. Louis community South Side for Ever on Buder playground. Cill was a very colorful woman that dressed flashy with big colors and she loved loved loved hats. But even more she had the most beautiful smile. You’ve traveled a long hard road may you Rest in Paradise. Your work is done.
