Anishka N. Clay was born on September 21, 1959 to Frank and Georgia M. Clay. They both preceded her in death along with sisters Lucille, Mae, and Lecia. Anishka (AKA…Weiny) was educated in the St. Louis Public School System. Anishka attended Antioch Baptist Church as a child. Anishka worked numerous jobs throughout her lifetime. Anishka gave birth to her only beloved daughter, Amisha Hull-Clay on November 15, 1991. They were inseparable throughout her life, along with her two grandchildren. Anishka enjoyed socializing with family and friends. Anishka married her love, Thomas Carruth on her 60th birthday. That was a momentous occasion. Anishka’s daughter took her on a cruise for her 59th birthday, which was a highlight of her life. Anishka transitioned from this this world, into the loving hands of the Lord on August 1, 2020 at 9:42p.m. She will be greatly missed. She leaves to cherish her memories, her devoted Husband, Thomas; Daughter, Amisha (Roman Little); Grandchildren Ariyah Madison and Demeiko Burrell; Sisters, Evelyn Harden, Barbara Cook; Brothers, Gary (Jacquelyn) Cook of Shaker Heights, Ohio, Keith (Lynne) Clay of Alto, Georgia; Younger Sister Rhonda (John) Gray. Those girls surely did not like having to wear identical outfits. A host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends. Her Bestie Essie preceded her in death a couple of months ago as well as longtime friend, Lawrence Robinson who also preceded her in death.
