Obituary of Marita Eileen Hurley

Marita E. (Junior) Hurley 68.
Passed away unexpectedly on August 14, 2019. Daughter of the late 
William F. And Marita A. (Comford) Hurley.
Marita was born in Kansas City, MO. She is survived by brother Michael 
W. (Susan) Hurley, sisters-in-law Kathy Hurley, Sister Colleen A. 
(David) Platt and sister Nancy E. (Tom) Edwards. She is also survived 
by her beloved soul mate and life partner of 17 years Jack Issa as 
well as many cousins , nephews and nieces.

Marita attended St. Peters Grade School in Kansas City, Mo. St. 
Teresas Academy, and received a Bachelors Degree in History form the 
Univrstiy of Missouri-Kansas Ciity. She was employed by the St. Louis 
County Goverment as a supervisor of Facilties Management.

Marita was a blessing to many. She brightened up the lives of all 
those she touched. She loved her beloved kitties both indoor and 
outdoor. She was passionate about the following: St. Louis Baseball 
Cardinals, Jazz, tennis, flower gardening, antiques, primitive African 
art, shopping at the Scholar Shop, and her beloved
Clifton Heights and neighborhood. Our Irish lass will be forever in 
our hearts.
